Great well built refrigerator. However...

Bought this refrigerator about a month ago. It has performed very well since and have not had any issues. The French door style is WONDERFUL compared to the side by side I replaced. This holds LOTS of product. Its quiet when it runs and maintains consistent temperatures I have added Thermometers to both the Refrigerator and freezer. I love the Instaview function and the door in door. The only disappointment is the ice maker. VERY slow making ice even when using the Ice Plus feature. There are only two of us in the house and filling a glass each with ice pretty much empties the bin and the unit takes over 24 hours to refill it... Plus the ice maker is VERY noisy from filling with water to dumping the ice. Other than that the refrigerator is a dream...and looks really nice.

Pretty Good product But

my LG refrigerator is beautiful and really brightens up the kitchen. I love all of the features. However the freezer fan motor and the refrigerator fan motor both died at the same time. Customer service awful. So I watched a few YouTube videos and figured out how to change the parts myself saving hundreds of dollars. Very disappointed that I had this kind of problem in the first 12 months. Ive had similar refrigerators for five years with zero problems. This is a very expensive product. I wouldnt expect that kind of defect. To be exact this happened at the 15 month mark of ownership.

Within a year our refrigerator door seal came off and cooling is is not great. Due to seal issues refrigeration is not ideal. I did contact LG and they didnt respond at all I did send pictures and gave details. Warranty by store was one year and exactly after a year deal came off. Thinking that refrigerator always has good life but this LG product seemed to perform poor exactly after a year. Spending so much on product LG didnt provide any service. Overall not happy with product and LG service

Spectacular fridge but Freezer drawer on ice

I was looking for a new fridge for my new kitchen remodeling And I have friends that has very similar refrigerator. The only problem that I have call LG support multiple times is the bottom drawer of the freezer every time has ice on the side rails. I have to every other day constantly cleaning up the ice off the drawer slider rail. Thats why I give it a 4 star. The refrigerator looks amazing on the new kitchen.

Terrible service and quality

I bought this product and it came with all sorts of issues. I had warranty and called to get the issues fixed and they sent out people who just took it apart and left it there for three weeks and I had to keep calling to get them to fix it. The quality is bad and came with problems from the start and the service was even worse. I do not recommend this product.

We were drawn to the LG refrigerator because of the features it has but after the delivery weve experienced issues with the plastic tasting water that still has not been resolved after three weeks. Now we also find that the left upper door went out of alignment all on its own. We choose LG because of their reputation but now were questioning if we made the right decision.

Dont Buy this Refrigerator

I purchased this Refrigerator June 2019 and March 2023 and it was no longer cooling. When I contacted LG the repairmen were hard to reach. And my until has been services twice and STILL not working properly. The freezer is not working and the unit will not make ice. We are literally keeping in a cooler outside.

Cheaply made donut waste your money

We bought one of these only 15 months ago. The fan has died and were waiting for a part. Though we have jury-rigged a window fan to it without the fan the compressor may burn out which mean s a lot o cost to repair. If youre paying thousands of dollars for a refrigerator the fan that keeps the compressor alive should last longer than a year. Cheap poorly engineered poorly made take your pick - it wasnt worth the money we paid and will have to continue paying to keep it working. Do your research and buy something much more reliable

Beautiful fridge

I bought this a month ago and I am enjoying it. The ice machine had clogged once but was fairly easy to unclog. It is very roomy inside and the 2 levels of freezer are helpful for meal planning. The only real negative is the door with the ice maker when ingredients are on the door can be heavy.

Beautiful with a few flaws

The refrigerator is beautiful and roomy. The door with the ice maker is heavy if you put things in the door do you have to take care when opening. The door in door is a great feature for grabbing frequently used items without opening the fridge proper. Have had for 3 weeks and had to unjam the ice maker. Its a mess to do and the ice shoots into the fridge.

Warranty work Great

Purchased retail delivered plugged in and within an hour of running had an error message the fan wasnt running properly. LG had repair personnel out in two days to diagnose problems. Fortunately the freezer and refrigerator side continued to cool properly even with fan not working .Since ran without cooling fan LG is going to replace the compressor as well as fan so it will return to like new condition

Best bang for the buck

I bought this 3 months ago and I am very pleased with this refrigerator. It looks aesthetically great in our kitchen and enhances the beauty of our living room with open floor plan into the kitchen. It has so much storage space and wife and kids love it .

Issues From The Start

I bought this just before Thanksgiving 2022. The glass door did not close with the same suction as the other door. The freezer started to generate a lot of frost. Shortly after the freezer stopped working. Waiting on service to see if it can be brought to my satisfaction.

Good while it lasted

I sort of liked it when it worked. It completely stopped cooling in 2.5 years. Also the knock to view window Beverly really worked that good. I would have to knock in different places multiple times to get the light to turn on so you can see inside. Then again I really disliked how heavy the doors felt and the door divider was kind of annoying. Its going to be a month total for customer support to give me a refund and its not even a full refund. If I had to be completely honest I never really liked this fridge in the first place. I only liked the knock to view window.

We love our new refrigerator.

We love the roominess of the interior. The exterior glass door is great for the items we use most often so you are not opening the door to the entire refrigerator. The 2 knock light up view is very convenient. There is a spot in the top freezer drawer to put extra ice from the icemaker. It would have been nice to come with an ice scoop for that spot. The only other thing that would like to have come with the unit is a sleeve for eggs. It may have a spot designed for eggs but have not been able to figure it out. For the short period that we have owned this appliance I am extremely happy that it is the product that my wife decided to purchase.

When I bought this I thought it was the one with a chill drawer cause they look so similar I couldnt tell the difference So not happy about that Also the i insta view door and chill shelves are impossible to get out Lg needs to re-evaluate the design of this refrigerator

Not happy with it Both freezer drawers are small

My last lg had only one freezer drawer and my food from there cant even fit into the 2 freezer drawers I have I thought I was buying the upgrade version of my last refrigerator but I was wrong I think lg drop the ball on the design of this refrigerator Also the drawers automatically close which is a pain in the butt when your trying to put food away The water and ice still taste weird even though Ive completely emptied the ice 3 times and ran the water with about 3 gallons it still tastes like chemicals

Great layout inside.

Purchased about a month ago what a unit From the look-in door to the layout and space inside. Double freezer drawers make for easy organizing your frozen stuff. Looks awesome. If your looking for state of the art this is it. Wi fi equipped you can operate the fridge with your phone or pc.

I bought this refrigerator couple years ago and unfortunately no longer working. Its too bad it took me three months to get partial reimbursement from LG. many other friends of mine have the same issue with the same refrigerator to bed because looks good but doesnt work.

Love this Refrigerator

It has so much room. The ice maker is quiet and makes plenty of ice. We love the 2 drawer freezer-we put the stuff we use the most on the top where it is easily accessible. The door-in-door is by far my favorite. I only open the one small door to get my favorite drink. Definitely recommend this fridge.

I fell in love with this refrigerator in the store

We bought our refrigerator on October 27th it worked for a whole 2 weeks and then the freezer stopped working. We have an LG service technician coming out on November the 29th. I am really hoping that it can be fixed.

I have been without refrig since Oct 30. We plugged it in and light was on for 1 min then it hadnt worked since. Oct 30. It is brand new and glad it had a warrenty.On Nov 22 we are to get the mother board. Pray that this fixes it. I have been patient but this really has been rough.

We have been LG customers for many years and all our appliances and TVs in our house are LG products. This fridge was purchased new in late 2019 for our new house. It stopped cooling about 2 months ago and we found out there is a recall on it. LG sent out a technician 4 times and they are unable to repair the fridge. They have offered to buy it back from us at a significant depreciation. I am very disappointed in this LG product.

Love the beverage compartment. Nice size. Two major annoying things: the open door alarm cannot be shut off and the thermostat window in front does not reflect the actual temperature but rather just what the temperature is SET at.

We have had this for about 2 months and could not be happier. Love the Knock Knock door that lights up. Extremely quiet. Another Huge feature for me is how easy it is to keep the outside clean. Our previous refrigerator Stainless Steel had to use a specific spray cleaner and was a huge chore to keep clean. This new fridge simply wipes clean.

I bought this and was told it would be a three month wait we were in the process of going to Florida so he could have surgery do the wait was not a problem. It actually came in in three weeks. My husband feel in love with this refrigerator that he never got to see. He passed before we got home. I love this refrigerator and Im very happy with it.
