They vent design is awful and it gives a false read. The blocked duct comes up home and vent are brand new. They blame you and force you to have someone else come look at the duct before they will come out??? Terrible warranty They do not reimburse you when your duct is not the problem. You spend money and the issue is still on LG. I will never recommend or purchase another LG product again.

This is my first front load washer. On the first use I thought the thing was possessed and I was going to have to call an exorcist. It made a few turns to the right and stopped. Then a few turns to the left and stopped. It took me awhile to figure out that this was normal. What are they going to think of next? Anyway it has lots of predefined cycles which seem to work well. I like all the options to be able to wash longer add steam spin longer etc.. The only thing that Im still trying to get better with is the amount of detergent to use. Instructions state to use the correct amount for a High Efficiency HE washer. Ive only found one detergent which states it is for HE machines exclusively. All other detergents say they are made for HE machines but instructions for amount to use are for non HE machines and so you wind up putting in too much detergent. With a little more practice Im sure Ill get this worked out. Ive had to switch from using Oxiclean powdered bleach to ALL liquid oxygen bleach since the dispenser container on the washer says not to use powder there. Im Still trying to get that converted amount right. Overall I really like this machine and am glad I chose LG. It does a good job of getting my clothes clean and has a nice large tub. I washed a thick Queen comforter in it recently and it worked great. I was not able to do that with my last washer. I also purchased the matching Dryer and stacked them. This gave me more room in my laundry room which is a nice bonus.. I chose LG after doing about a month of online research. I read lots of reviews from owners as well as service repair folks that said that LG washer and dryers are as good as it gets. Ive only owned these machines for a few weeks now but so far I am impressed and would recommend them

Great Features Falls Short

We got this dryer to match the washer. Nothing but great things from everything we saw and read. We got it home have used it for a few month and have all new connections and hookups. The only cycle the works correctly is the timed cycle. Even after following all the directions we could find and reaching out to LG support the sensor drying leaves clothes damp regardless of the cycle. New ducting and nothing blocking. Clean sensor. I cant recommend this dryer. LG says that the dryer

Fast Quiet and Well Insulated

We most often choose the normal setting. It seems like the clothes are dry in nothing flat. I appreciate that this dryer doesnt seem to radiate a lot of heat so the laundry room stays cool. I will use this dryer in summer whereas previously I used an outdoor drying rack.

Improper installation

I brought this dryer a month ago Feb 24 being excited to have a new dryer not 20+ years old with so many new features. With a new dryer comes new sounds/smells. Well on May 8th the dryer blew up due to improper installation. Currently I have been without a replacement or a date to when I will receive a replacement. This has given me a very poor experience as I havent been able to test all the new features this dryer offers. This cause my entire house to lose power by tripping the main 200amp breaker and almost setting the wall on fire. If it cant be installed correctly cant say I recommend the product.

Amazing dryer

I bought this dryer about a month ago when my old one died. I was so excited about all the features it had. However after it was delivered and I tried to use it I was very upset. I could not get it to make any changes to the cycles I wanted to use. It turns out the machine was too smart for me. However after a lesson from the techs I now love it. It seems one step I missed was to chose the cycle I needed to turn the know a little to the left. That allows me to use the cycle the way I chose to. Thanks LG

One small issue

When I use the Steam Fresh setting after 2 minutes I get an error cycle stop stopped due to an error. The cycle does not actually stop and continues for the last minutes. I also have gotten a couple of messages the I need to add water when it is hooked to the water line. Leaves me wondering if it is actually using steam. I spent quite a while with customer service and it was a terrible experience and the issue still exists. One person said he would call me back in 10 minutes and never did. Everything else is great

This is the mate to our LG washer. It is slightly larger due to a larger vent connection. We have run multiple loads and it runs VERY quiet. It seems to also have good sensor recognition of when the items are dry. I reserve the option of updating this 6 months and 1-2 years out.

Nice big dryer with smart drying

This is our first front loading dryer and that feature alone is amazing. Overall this dryer was worth the price with the various settings saving me a lot of time restarting the dryer on thicker or heavier loads. The sensing technology works surprisingly well to increase dry time if needed. This is particularly helpful with heavier items like blankets or thick hoodies and sweatshirts. Ive never had a dryer that would actually dry those items in a single run and this dryer does with no issues. Im very happy with the purchase and happy with all of the LG appliances we have purchased for our new house.

The dryer after 6 months is making a squeaking noise internally so much so that the sound can be heard in the other room. Called LG two weeks ago and have heard nothing back other than the very initial generic response. Shouldnt have this problem in a machine only a few months old. The machine is not overloaded or abused in anyway.

Great Dryer

I purchased this electric dryer a couple of weeks ago. Its stylish and works great. The only disappointment is that it only connects to a 2.4GHz wifi network and mine is 5.0GHz so it wont connect. Hopefully LG has a firmware update for that before long as most networks are going 5GHz.

Great Features Quiet Running

Great after replacement

We received the washer and dryer and were disappointed when the hot water ran and did not stop with the unit off. There were so many issues with delivery its not even funny but not the manufacturers fault. Once replaced the new washer had a dent in the side. We accepted it and did receive a discount but after two weeks we needed clean clothes So far both units are working great and we have no complaints. Washer spins so well the clothes feel almost dry coming out.

Best Dryer for a great price

Bought this machine along with the companion Dryer in June of 2022. Its simple to use with tons of great features. Lowes took care of the delivery and installation. I just had to remodel the utility room. We are saving money and time with these machines.

New LG dryer

Purchased as a set just over a month ago. Had a older LG dryer that ran great but washer had issues to upgraded to new set. This dryer is ok but find to fully dry a load I have to use heavy duty setting instead of normal. Do like that I have the set linked to my phone and know when cycle is done

normal cycle cannot dry one shirt

Upon first use the normal cycle cannot dry even 1 shirt only the high cycle works. Also fairly certain we were given a used unit although we purchased it brand new. It had dirt in the drum from prior use. Terrible experience overall. See photo of drum prior to use. This dryer is completely useles. Worse purchase ever made. Customer service at LG is a nightmare and they pass the buck after dumping a defective product on us.
